Interrogative

I see now it is time,
That I let you go.
And hope that
I never let it show.

If you know the way my heart,
Was breaking inside,
Would you feel guilty?
Would you lie?

You say my friendship means so much to you
But would you even care if I walked away,
And never come back?

You say you don’t know why anyone
Would not date me,
So why not YOU!

There I have said it,
Well technically wrote it,
And though you will never
Know—

I am telling you that I am moving on!
I am taking my heart back!
