Literature Text

Their greatest failure,
That’s all I am really.
They don’t realize they say it,
And when I tell them they say I’m silly.

They say they love me unconditionally,
But they make limits with their eyes.
Saying with a look “why aren’t you like that”,
And making failures of my tries.

I sadly say, “I’m sorry”,
And wipe away a tear,
Knowing I am fulfilling their nightmare
By even being near.

But seeing them everyday,
And their eyes full of distain,
While acting like I still care
Is driving me insane!

Why they cannot love me,
I guess I will never know,
But anyplace other than here
I would gladly go!

All they ever see in me,
And all they ever saw,
Was only the part I let them see,
Now I am the family’s greatest flaw.
This is about some members of my family and how they treat me (which is not very nicely!!)
So please tell me if you think it is good!!
or not so good!

:frustrated: Nobody in our family treats you like a flaw!! They just push you to be the best. We all believe in you, and sometimes you don't act to your potential. Instead of being so mad, embrace the fact that they have such faith in you. I know you are young and some of these feelings will change with age, but this is very sad. The poem is very good.
